Deep in thought at the age of 96

He has appeared on television, radio and in magazines, with a large quantity of his work being sold to the rich and famous and is held in private collections across the world. He continues to have a wide fan base to this day.

Leading an extremely full and varied life; Cyril also worked as a graphic designer until joining the army at the outbreak of World War II.

Eventually Cyril was posted to Wales where, due to his obvious artistic talents, he drew up detailed invasion maps. Here he established a close friendship with renowned artist Terence Cuneo.

Truly he was man of many rare talents which included teaching himself German so as to be able to read Goethe’s original texts.
